United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) ambassador Natalia Vodianova stars in a new campaign to raise awareness of Menstrual Hygiene Day, launching 'dignity kits' for women who cannot access basic supplies, which includes reusable pads, underwear, soaps and toothpaste.
The Russian model took to Instagram to share the news, posting 'When we think of crisis and first aid we think of food, water, shelter, but have you thought about how difficult it would be to live in a refugee camp for months, and sometimes years on end, without pads and underwear?🩲🩸 @unfpa, the United Nations sexual and reproductive health agency, is often the only agency to reach women and girls with these supplies'.
